Giraffes--researching more for Earnest

Did you know that a giraffe weighs 1500-3000 pounds, 600 of that being located in the neck. That means friend-Earnest (who would weigh 2000 pounds with a giraffe neck) is about 1400, plus maybe 70 pounds in his human torso. So 1470 lb.

Giraffe feet are about 12 inches long, vaguely the same length as human feet. Go figure.

What a strange idea for an animal--it's so ridiculously disproportionate, but at the same time it's perfectly functional and perfectly suited for its job.

Giraffes are freaking fantastic! XD
